Joanie was striking from the moment of her birth. She was slightly smaller than her sister but her balance and striking solid dark red color made her stand out. Joanie freshened with a beautiful, correct, and delightfully soft udder. Her Appraisal score accurately reflects her beautiful balance and strength.
Apparently Joanie is an example of a repeat breeding producing strikingly similar sisters. Joanie is very close to a red version of her sister Josee. Her udder is a little higher in the rear and her teats a bit smaller. She has the same lovely long bone pattern, strong top line and beautiful rump. Joanie is quite level headed and and loves the show ring. Joanie is the herd Queen and quietly goes about her business. She continues to milk nicely. We plan on retaining her doe kids but will offer her buck kids for sale.

REUEL GALEN'S FAL GLYNIS 13*M 5/3/17
Glynis was quite striking at birth and since we had decided to sell her beautiful mom we knew we needed to keep Glynis. From her quirky facial markings to her wide and tall body she just said DAIRY as soon as she was born. She is a personable doe with a lot of potential. Glynis has matured into a very strong doe who is my favorite to hand milk. She is very easy to milk and she has a beautifully soft udder. You don't really get a picture of how large she is because she is beautifully balanced, but when you begin to trim her feet and clip her you notice! It is a very good thing that she is cooperative.

No Fool has developed into a beautiful and productive
doe. She is very business-like and pretty much does as she pleases in the herd.
She is assertive without being aggressive and generally quiet. She is long,
tall and very open through out. She is a pleasure to work with. She is strong,
co-operative and productive. What more could you ask?

Jubilatte has been a delight as she has matured in our
herd. She stays busy keeping the youngsters in line and annoying the cats. She
is not aggressive but will not take any nonsense from herd mates. She is a nice
productive and very co operative doe that is a steady influence in the herd.
Latte, loves her hugs and treats and always tries to con a second cookie after
milking; sometimes it even works! We appreciate her attitude and forgiving
nature. She has matured beautifully and we really enjoy having her around.

REUEL JOANIE’S EDV JESHAIAH
6-6-18
Jesse never disappoints. She continues to do everything we could want. She is beautiful to look at, and productive. She basically rules the doe pen but still gives deference to our matriarch, Joanie. She is assertive but not aggressive in any way. At feeding time she can often be heard "growling" over a particularly tasty chunk of hay. She is a dream to work on for foot trimming and other management things. She will, no doubt, take over as herd boss when Joanie dies but is now very content to be second in command and to take care of her mother, Joanie. She is a delightful and much loved member of the herd.

REUEL JUSTIFIED'S EDV JAMIE 5-29-21
Jamie is a quiet, unassuming doe who joined the milking string as a gangly, smallish two year old. She had a nicely attached udder but wasn't particularly remarkable in any way. This spring it was a very different Jamie that appeared. Jamie has continued to develop and grow.
Her udder is beautifully attached and nicely productive. She milked herself pretty thin at the beginning of her lactation and has just lately begun to put a little weight on her growing frame. She will be appraised for the first time this fall and I am looking forward to hearing the evaluation. Jamie is a pleasure to handle and really seems to love the milking process or maybe it is the grain, either way we are very happy to have her in the milk string.

REUEL NO FOOL'S EDV MAY DAY 5-1-21
May Day is an assertive and powerful doe. She couldn't be more different in personality from her pal, Jamie. She might be tempted to throw her considerable weight around if the older does would permit it. She is strong, wide and fun to watch on the move.
Unfortunately, May Day freshened with mastitis in the left side of her beautifully attached and productive udder. She responded to treatment immediately but the left side of her udder dried up except for a couple squirts of milk. The right side continues to be very productive and well attached. I am hopeful that she will regain production on the left side when she freshens again. She will be appraised this fall and I am anxious to see what the appraiser has to say. Meanwhile it seems I am stuck with spots in my herd. If not from May Day then from Jubilatte. I told May Day that I would really like a doe from her that wasn't spotted and she obliged this spring but apparently Latte didn't get the memo so I have a spotted doe from her in the keeper pen.

REUEL JENGA'S DAV JUMANJI 5-1-22
Jumanji is a very quiet and hard working youngster. She kidded and quickly adapted to the milking routine. She comes in nicely and hops up on her stand quickly and quietly and absolutely gobbles her grain. Her udder is amazing and I am really looking forward to her next freshening.
She is a real credit to her Dam and promises to be outstanding. I am looking forward to her first appraisal scores.

REUEL JESHAIAH'S REB JOLEE 4-4-22
Jolee spent her yearling year filling out and growing up. She finally got her parts assembled in proper size and order and the changes were amazing to behold. Jolee quickly settled down and kidded with a couple of very striking doe kids and an amazing udder. She is a beautiful and confident young doe with a bright future. I am very happy that I kept one of her doe kids this year and would like to repeat the breeding that produced this beautiful youngster.

Gwen was a sleeper as a dry yearling, a nice solid doe in
a plain brown wrapper. As she continued to quietly grow and fill out she began
to catch my eye a bit. She freshened in with no fanfare and quickly adapted to her new routine. She is a
very quiet and business-like youngster. Her udder is beautiful and she is very
productive. She is a credit to her dam
and has the same gentle and quiet disposition. Another of our amazing group of
lovely 2 year olds.

REUEL JODI'S DAV JADA 4-17-22
Jada has really grown nicely and is coming into her own as a second freshener. She a is playful and co operative doe who delights in removing the lid to the grain barrel while on the milkstand. She can be a bit impatient when I am not fast enough to suit her. She is a very nice youngster and will be a very nice mature doe. She has a quirky personality, much like her dam, Jodi. She is a fun youngster who sometimes manages to get her face in the cookie jar if we aren't watching her closely.

REUEL JESHAIAH'S DAV DEMBE 4-19-23
Dembe is the only yearling we freshened this year. She is small, immature and growing rapidly. Dembe loves being a milker and comes in every milking and jumps up on her stand quickly and dives into her grain. She continues to grow and she maintains a low profile and out of the line of fire in the herd. She has quietly gone about her business and the older milkers have ignored her. She is a happy little milker and we are delighted with her attitude. Her appraisal scores should be a reflection of her immaturity but valuable none the less.
