Joanie was striking from the moment of her birth. She was slightly smaller than her sister but her balance and striking solid dark red color made her stand out. Joanie freshened with a beautiful, correct, and delightfully soft udder. Her Appraisal score accurately reflects her beautiful balance and strength.
Apparently Joanie is an example of a repeat breeding producing strikingly similar sisters. Joanie is very close to a red version of her sister Josee. Her udder is a little higher in the rear and her teats a bit smaller. She has the same lovely long bone pattern, strong top line and beautiful rump. Joanie is quite level headed and and loves the show ring. Joanie is the herd Queen and quietly goes about her business. She continues to milk nicely. We plan on retaining her doe kids but will offer her buck kids for sale.

REUEL GALEN'S FAL GLYNIS 13*M 5/3/17
Glynis was quite striking at birth and since we had decided to sell her beautiful mom we knew we needed to keep Glynis. From her quirky facial markings to her wide and tall body she just said DAIRY as soon as she was born. She is a personable doe with a lot of potential. Glynis has matured into a very strong doe who is my favorite to hand milk. She is very easy to milk and she has a beautifully soft udder. You don't really get a picture of how large she is because she is beautifully balanced, but when you begin to trim her feet and clip her you notice! It is a very good thing that she is cooperative.

No Fool is a personable and pleasant youngster and although I wish she was milking better, She does have a lot more growing to do and she only had a single kid. She is nicely balanced and promising. I am quite pleased with her attitude and am looking forward to seeing her mature.
No Fool continues to grow and develop nicely. She is a confident and cooperative doe.

Josee delivered her triplets rather quickly after the initial blockage was removed. Her babies were active and strong little eaters. I was thrilled to have two does from Josee after a few years of all buck kids. Since Josee rebounded well from her kidding and seemed in perfect health I reluctantly sold one of the doelings. I figured we could get several more does from her in the coming years. Alas, it was not to be. Josee succumbed to a very fast, hard hitting, pneumonia in August. She is sorely missed.
Jubilatte is so like her mother in her approach to life that it is somewhat eerie. We took her to her first show this fall and she walked into the ring, set herself up and behaved as if she had been doing this for a long time. She loved the attention and showed herself beautifully and ended up with a Reserve Junior Champion Rosette. Latte continues to grow and develop nicely. She is very long bodied and will take some time to finish growing up. She is milking well.

Jessi has matured into a beautiful and very steady milker. She loves attention but isn't pushy. We really appreciate her cooperative attitude and level headedness. She is a credit to her mother and we expect that she will only get better with age.

REUEL ZAYNAH'S EDV ZAHVIA
4-20-19
Zahvia arrived as the last kid in a set of Quads. She was pretty small and tucked way down in the very bottom of the uterine horn. Evidently her siblings didn't give her much room to move around because her back legs were quite under developed when she was born. She had a very hard time keeping her steifel joints bending in the proper direction but she was very determined and in about 7 days you would have been hard pressed to see any problem with her legs at all.
Zahvia is a dairyman's dream...She is relatively smaller than most of our goats so she takes up less feeder space and she eats less, she is super cooperative and easily adapts to change, she isn't easily intimidated so she gets her fair share of feed and she milks persistantly. She always has a full udder no matter how hot or how cold the weather is. Upon discussing her with our appraiser we decided that she has more than earned another year. We are looking forward to finally seeing her as a mature doe. It might take until she is 5 or so but we'll give her that chance.

Jamie has been scooting around the doe pen trying not to aggravate anyone. For the most part she succeeds and no one gives her any trouble. She has spent this dry year growing and preparing to be bred. We are hopeful that she will continue to mature into the milker that her heritage promises.

Mayday is still a party on legs, her spots are even brighter but most importantly she is growing very well and maintaining beautiful balance and strength throughout. She really catches your eye as she moves about the pen. I am looking forward to seeing her freshen as she has the look of a strong milker. I will continue to try really hard not to hold those spots against her. :-)
