Joanie was striking from the moment of her birth.  She was slightly smaller than her sister but her balance and striking solid dark red color made her stand out.  Joanie freshened with a beautiful, correct, and delightfully soft udder.  Her Appraisal score accurately reflects her beautiful balance and strength.

Apparently Joanie is an example of a repeat breeding producing strikingly similar sisters.   Joanie is very close to a red version of her sister Josee.  Her udder is a little higher in the rear and her teats a bit smaller.  She has the same lovely long bone pattern, strong top line and beautiful rump.  Joanie is quite level headed and and loves the show ring.  We are delighted with her and the promise that her daughter, Kieko, shows. Joanie is a doe with great promise.

Reuel Josee's MIC Jodi   5*M
5/13/15

Jodi has developed into a beautiful and productive doe. She loves to be the center of attention and will really strut her stuff in the ring. She is a strong and easy going doe.  She is the kind of doe that you really come to appreciate as she matures. She comes right in for milking and takes any stand that is available, she stands very still for foot trimming and any other management tasks that need to be done.
We love her temperament and are delighted to see her grow into the promising doe we saw when she was born. We are looking forward to seeing her daughters develop in ours and other herds.

Glynis was quite striking at birth and since we had decided to sell her beautiful mom we knew we needed to keep Glynis.  From her quirky facial markings to her wide and tall body she just said DAIRY as soon as she was born. She is a personable doe with a lot of potential.  She has been growing like crazy and is finally putting some depth on her beautiful body. She is strikingly correct and well balanced for such a youngster. We are delighted with her and look forward to many more productive years with her.

REUEL JOANIE'S FAL JANA 5*M 4/28/17

Jana freshened early in February and has had a very hard start to her milking career. First of all one of her doe kids died at birth because we didn't get her out in time. Then she developed a uterine infection and mastitis on one side.  She ran a fever over 105 for 10 days until it finally broke. We got her back to health but while she was struggling her immune system was stressed so she developed a infestation of mites.  We treated her for that and she is healing up nicely but it takes time. All through her ordeal she has had a great attitude. She comes in to be milked like a trooper and is a very nice animal to have around. She is long bodied and moves out nicely level.
She has quickly learned to be handled and clipped and to deal with all the things we do to our does.  She shows great promise and attitude.

Jenga is a nice long and tall doeling, She is well grown and stands on very nice feet and legs. She was our first Endeavor daughter to freshen and  are very happy to seeing how she has turned out.  She certainly has grown well and shows good dairy strength. We really like what we see so far! Jenga seems to really like being a milker. She is not easily intimidated and is milking very well. She continues to grow and is going to be a big girl by the time she reaches 5 years old.

REUEL JENGA'S JET JAX 3-6-20

Jax has been very difficult to figure out. She has days when she is very steep rumped and high hipped and the next week she is walking out level and balanced. She is milking very nicely and has a good attitude so she gets to stay for another freshening. She is very deep bodied for a yearling and well grown.  Stay tuned for her future...will she be the ugly duckling that turns into a swan?  Only time will tell.

REUEL JOSEE'S EDV JUBILATTE
   2-23-19

Josee delivered her triplets rather quickly after the initial blockage was removed. Her babies were active and strong little eaters. I was thrilled to have two does from Josee after a few years of all buck kids.  Since Josee rebounded well from her kidding and seemed in perfect health I reluctantly sold one of the doelings. I figured we could get several more does from her in the coming years.  Alas, it was not to be. Josee succumbed to a very fast, hard hitting, pneumonia in August.  She is sorely missed.

Jubilatte is so like her mother in her approach to life that it is somewhat eerie.  We took her to her first show this fall and she walked into the ring, set herself up and behaved as if she had been doing this for a long time.  She loved the attention and showed herself beautifully and ended up with a Reserve Junior Champion Rosette.  We expect that this will be only the first of many wins as she is growing very well and has the carriage of a Champion in the making.

Jessi is a powerful little doe with a big personality.  She tries hard to rule the pen of youngsters that she is in but they just aren’t intimidated by her at all. She is a snuggler and craves attention whenever she can get it. She is growing fast and we expect her to get to breeding size before December.  She is already showing her mother’s really nice balance in size and strength.  She has a really lovely head and looks as if she will be a black version of her mother when she reaches maturity.  She had an unfortunate run in with a yellow jacket or hornet this August and we almost lost her but a couple if doses of Benedryl put things right.  We are sure glad we noticed the swelling before it got any worse.

4-20-19

Zahvia arrived as the last kid in a set of Quads.  She was pretty small and tucked way down in the very bottom of the uterine horn.  Evidently her siblings didn't give her much room to move around because her back legs were quite under developed when she was born.  She had a very hard time keeping her steifel joints bending in the proper direction but she was very determined and in about 7 days you would have been hard pressed to see any problem with her legs at all.  We fondly dubbed her "Crazy-legs" and she still answers to that name today. She is a quiet and delightful youngster and we will hold her over until 2020 for breeding.  She is not intimidated by any of the kids even though she is the youngest and smallest in the pen. She is often the ring leader when the kids get into mischief.  She is a bundle of personality.

Justified is just a joy to have around. She is very co operative and business like not to mention she is milking very well. I just love her attitude and her will to milk.  She too has a lot of growing to do and should continue to be a delight to have around.  She has milked very well for a yearling and I am really looking forward to getting production records on her this coming lactation.
