Jael matured into an outstanding doe. She is very long and smooth and loves the show ring as well as the extra attention that the fairs bring.
She is a delightfully quirky doe who enjoys life. She often plays up to the judge and the spectators while being shown. She has taken over the herd boss duties and is a benevolent dictator. She is a very large doe so seldom has to assert herself to restore order.
Jael regularly produces daughters that are at least as good as she is and even more productive. She is a cooperative doe and we love having her in the milking string. She loves her cookies and all the attention she can garner.

Josee has been a striking doe since the day she was born. She quickly earned her dry leg as a kid. She scored 89 as a first freshening 2 year old and got a score of 90 as a 4 year old. Josee had mastitis during the summer of 2014 and she literally lost all production in the left half of her udder. No one who saw her gave her much chance of ever recovering.
After aggressive treatment during her dry period and once again as she freshened I watched her slowly regain production in the smaller left side. By the time the Appraisal and the June show rolled around she was just about even. She continued to improve until at the Spokane Fair she was awarded Best Uddered 4yr old in both rings and Best Udder of Breed in one ring. Her udder had healed and we are thrilled.
We are looking forward to showing Josee in the Champion Challenge classes with her mother. We love the style and strength of this doe and love to watch when breeders and judges put their hands on her flat wide and open ribs.

Rhesa is sound and productive. She was dried off early as she is now getting older and we are more interested in her offspring than adding her milk to the milk pail. Rhesa is a real prize and passes on her signature “perfect” rump to all of her offspring. Her son, Rio Grande, who works as a herd sire in Arizona, passes that same wide, flat rump on to his offspring, also. At this writing Rhesa has 3 daughters and one son who have appraised 90 or better, that we know about!

REUEL JOSEE’S EDV JUBILATTE
Jubilatte has been a delight as she has matured in our herd. She stays busy keeping the youngsters in line and annoying the cats. She is not aggressive but will not take any nonsense from herd mates. She is a nice productive and very cooperative doe that is a steady influence in the herd. Latte, loves her hugs and treats and always tries to con a second cookie after milking; sometimes it even works! We appreciate her attitude and forgiving nature. She has matured beautifully and we really enjoy having her around.

Gwen was a sleeper as a dry yearling, a nice solid doe in a plain brown wrapper. As she continued to quietly grow and fill out she began to catch my eye a bit. She freshened in with no fanfare and quickly adapted to her new routine. She is a very quiet and business-like youngster. Her udder is beautiful and she is very productive. She is a credit to her dam and has the same gentle and quiet disposition. Another of our amazing group of lovely 2 year olds.

J.J. was an upstanding buck with a beautiful rear leg set and the most open and rounded escutcheon that we have ever seen. His mother was outstanding doe, she classified 90 (E, E, E, E) at six. We have long admired Trish and are thrilled to have her genes in our herd. Her son had a delightful temperament and was a joy to work with. His daughters were very nice with wonderful angulation and temperament. JJ has proven himself to be a consistent buck siring uniformly long, smooth daughters with lovely mammaries. J.J. really filled out as a 4 year old and at 350 pounds was truly a gentle giant of a buck. He gently romanced his does and treated them as a gentleman should. We are very proud of this buck and his offspring.
He has sired numerous Permanent Champions, Superior Genetics animals, and Does that score in the 90’s. His Senior Get of Sire was undefeated in 2004 and again in 2007. Our get of Jesse James placed 6th at the 2005 nationals and we will continue to use him as much as we can through AI. It was a very sad day late in January 2007 when we had to say good bye to our favorite Old Man. He has and will continue to be greatly missed. We will continue to use Jesse James on carefully selected does via AI and are very thankful to have a supply of his semen in our tank.

Jethro arrived with his two sister and we had no orders for bucks from his dam, Josee. Jethro was strikingly correct and very sweet. When the buck kid we planned on keeping died due to a birth defect, Jethro quickly moved in to the “keeper” pen. He has been growing like a weed and has bred several does. We’re excited to see how his kids look.
Josee is an exceptional doe who appraised 89 (the highest possible as a first freshener) at 2 years old. She developed mastitis as a second freshener and was not appraised this past summer. We are hoping that she does well this year but we know that her son has the genetic make up to produce beautiful daughters.
We’ll get a picture this June when he gets a haircut and gains some weight back from being in rut.

We request that all kids be picked up at the farm or shipped by 4-6 weeks of age as there seems to be less stress on them at that age. After 6 weeks of age we will have to charge $2.00 per day board until they are picked up or shipped. A $75 deposit is required to hold your kid with the balance due on notification of your kid’s birth. All health papers, shipping kennels and shipping are the responsibility of the buyer and are to be paid prior to shipment. Deposits on canceled orders are not refundable but deposits paid on kids that are not born can be refunded or shifted to another available kid. We reserve the right to refuse sale of any kid and to return the deposit or apply it to another kid. Please email Sandy if you have any questions.
