REUEL TWILL'S FAL TIANNA     3/28/17

Tianna was welcomed into the world with great anticipation.  We were really bummed that we lost Twill's first two kids but thrilled to find she had saved one for us.  Tianna appeared relatively unremarkable until she unfolded her very long legs and stood up... She is incredibly tall and has a nice long bone pattern.  It is going to take quite awhile for her to grow into her frame but we are excited to see her develop into the promise that she shows.

REUEL JOANIE'S FAL JANA  4/28/17

Jana arrived and we were a bit surprised that she was solid black with red points.  In fact when standing beside her half sister Zuri she looks like a carbon copy. Her solid ears and stunning black and dark red color are quite striking. She is long bodied and moves out nicely level.  She is quickly learning to be handled and clipped and dealing with all the things we do to our does.  She shows great promise and attitude.

JoJo finally broke the spell and delivered a beautiful doeling for us. Jenga is a nice long and tall doeling, She is well grown and stands on very nice feet and legs. We are looking forward to seeing her freshen in the spring. She will be our first Endeavor daughter to freshen and we are really looking forward to seeing how she turns out.  She certainly had grown well and shows good dairy strength. We really like what we see do far!

REUEL JUNO’S EDV IRISH JIG 3-17-18

Saint Patrick’s Day was celebrated in great style when Juno delivered twin doelings. We immediately chose Jig as our keeper doe and she has not disappointed us one bit. She is beautifully long and has a wonderfully wide escutcheon. We expect her to put a beautiful udder there when she freshens.  She also has a nice front end and a wide chest floor.  She has a laid back personality and a nice attitude.  We expect she will be a nice addition to our herd.

REUEL ZAYNAH’S FAL ZIVA 4-3-18

Ziva arrived 2 weeks after our last March kid and 2 weeks before our next April kid so we were a bit concerned that she might be crowded out of the Lambar by the big kids.  We bottle fed her for about a week and then looked at her and found that she was just about the same size as the older kids and that she wasn’t in the least shy about getting her share of the feed.  The big kids accepted her just fine and she in turn extended the time that those kids could stay on milk...Ziva has grown very well and is developing into a lovely long and smooth doe.  She has a distinctive “Falcon” look about her. She is very smooth and has a beautiful front end.  We are excited to see her freshen.

REUEL JOANIE’S EDV JESHAIAH 4-18-18

Jessi, is a powerful little doe with a big personality.  She tries hard to rule the pen of youngsters that she is in but they just aren’t intimidated by her at all. She is a snuggler and craves attention whenever she can get it. She is growing fast and we expect her to get to breeding size before December.  She is already showing her mother’s really nice balance in size and strength.  She has a really lovely head and looks as if she will be a black version of her mother when she reaches maturity.  She had an unfortunate run in with a yellow jacket or hornet this .August and we almost lost her but a couple if doses of Benedryl put things right.  We are sure glad we noticed the swelling before it got any worse.

REUEL ZAMAR’S FAL ZAMORA 6-26-18

We were so looking forward to seeing Zamar’s brood delivered. She was so large and so uncomfortable. Zamar always had had quads or triplets and the kids we nice and large and robust. This year Zamar would turn 6 and she was looking the best she ever had looked. Her weight was perfect and her udder was beautiful.  She was a knock out and we were so looking forward to her showing and finishing her GCH but it was not to be.  I checked and found that I couldn’t deliver her kids. Something just didn’t feel right. A quick call to the vet and we knew there was some sort of problem when she delivered just 2 kids who were both in one horn of the uterus.  The kids were very small and struggling, We gave them  a whole lot of TLC and many small feedings and they both made it fine.  Zamar did not. She never bounced back from her surgery even though it was a very straight forward and quick surgery.  There was something else going on with her and she struggled through 24 hours before dying quietly.  We so miss her sweet presence and gentle spirit.  Zamora is very like her mom in temperament but she has a beautifully long bone pattern and the smoothness of all of our Falcon daughters.  We hope that she develops the amazing udder that her mom had.  Her solid brown ears accentuate her long sleek neck and body.

REUEL ZURI’S EDV ZENDA 7-2-18

We managed to navigate or way through the prolonged kidding season without having any of the kids we were keeping turn up with spots.  You see, I am not a big fan of spots or of the myriad of silly terms used to describe said spots.  Those who know me have been teasing me unmercifully about purchasing a spotted buck and predicting that our herd would soon be bedecked with many spots...Well, Zenda arrived with her share of spots. She is a nice wide doe with lots of width in the escutcheon and plenty of length of body.  She is Zamar’s grand daughter as is Zulika and if she has the same udder as Zulu she will be spending her life here as well.  It is not likely that she will be bred until the fall of 2019 so until then she will be our token spotted doe.  I love her strength, width and nice balanced look.

REUEL GLYNIS’ EDV GWYNNE 7-6-18

Gwynne brought up the rear in the kidding races this year or almost as her sister trailed behind slightly. I hadn’t planned on keeping one of Glynis’ kids until these twin does showed up and Glynis started milking out of a beautiful little udder.  Her appraisal scores reflected my thoughts on this very stylish yearling and Gwynne is now part of the keeper kid pen.  She and her pen mates are growing beautifully. She is one of the ring leaders and has been first to explore all the options on the toys in their pen.  She is not likely to be bred until the fall of 2019 and by then she will certainly have made her presence known as a dry yearling.

                   REUEL JODI'S EDV JORA     4-17-18

After showing a bit of reluctance to arrive in this world, Jora quickly settled in to her routine. She is a nice substantial kid with great width through out and dairiness that promises good production in her future.
Jora is a very quiet and laid back youngster who goes with the flow. She is much like her mom in that way. We are looking forward to having her on the milking string and expect to breed her in December of this year.
